Leveraging Windows Services

Windows Services are one of the main areas to search for when looking to escalate privileges.

A Windows Service is similar to that of daemons on UNIX operating systems. It's a long running background executable or application managed by the Service Control Manager (SCM).

NOTE: Windows Services can be managed by powershell, Services snap-in, or sc.exe
